Channelling the early demo days of bands like Death, San Diego act Suicidal Preacher announce their arrival. The band consists of Eric Espina (vocals and guitar, ex-Archfiend), Elton Bernache (bass) and Joshua Rios (drums).<\/p>\n

This demo is 16 minutes of fast-paced death metal that brings moments of murkiness that nod towards Autopsy. So it\u2019s that kind of no frills, yet engaging death \/ thrash.<\/p>\n

The five-track affair begins with the frantic \u2018Doused In Acid\u2019, where vocalist Eric Espina rants like a rabid killer, barking with snappy ferocity amidst a wave of nifty aggression.<\/p>\n

However, the band really does benefit from the doomier segments, as evidenced on the fantastically morbid \u20181050\u2019 with its soupy introduction before we are treated to a volatile Repulsion kinda violence.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, \u2018Quartered In The Bathroom\u2019 is rancid and sickly as is closer \u2018Lost Hope, Found Rope (Slow Death)\u2019, while the cover of Death\u2019s \u2018Mutilation\u2019 is respectfully slurping.<\/p>\n

All in all this is a solid and squalid demo featuring lashings of all that is good n\u2019 gory about death metal. So, get on the band\u2019s bandcamp<\/a> page and support the underground.<\/p>\n
