Out of Mexico City comes this one-man project created a chap named Moy H\u00e4rdrocker. Moy likes to dabble in midnight metal under an unashamedly bad moniker, but go beyond that and let yourself succumb to what is essentially an orgy of Mot\u00f6rhead, Venom, Bulldozer, Hellhammer, Darkthrone<\/a> et al with Toxic Holocaust and the likes supplying the alcohol.<\/p>\n

However derivate and one dimensional it may be, this debut full-length offering knows how to rattle the bones and pull teeth. From the opening title cut, \u2018Rider Of The Night\u2019, through to the smoking \u2018Black Leather Speed Patrol\u2019 and the ravenous \u2018Speed Motorized Rock N Roll\u2019 this is fully cranked, beered-up party metal.<\/p>\n

The comedic titles just keep on rolling in on black waves of rust n\u2019 lust as \u2018666 cc\u2019 casts off nuts n\u2019 bolts to a Mot\u00f6rhead speedfest, while sandwiched between the crust are the ballsy ‘Rocker’ and \u2018Outlaw\u2019, both equally simplistic yet riveting.<\/p>\n

Moy\u2019s tone is that of a drunken orc stumbling into an old rural inn and laying waste to the alcohol and the inhabitants; raucous and riotous as he channels those half-hinted and perverse Bulldozer traits.<\/p>\n

Rider Of The Night<\/em> is vigorous, speedy, punk-infused metal with blackened energy. Tuck in.<\/p>\n
