This release features six songs and runs just shy of 15 minutes, but if you like your death metal dark n\u2019 grisly then this is for you.<\/p>\n<p>The man behind such a creation is Rory MacAulay, and boy does he serve up a festering platter of splatter. Opening cut \u2018Cemetery\u2019 begins with a creepy film sample and then your brain is mashed to a pulp, your innards thrown into a blender and your limbs fed to the pigs.<\/p>\n<p>MacAulay brings sickening haste to the menu with every instrument gnashing and slashing in violent convulsions. The pace only lets up around the 1:20 mark when slow churning buzzsaw riffs march in doomy fashion as Rory drops and dribbles congealed saliva. Then, it\u2019s back to the bludgeoning.<\/p>\n<p>If Putrid Fate was a serial killer it wouldn\u2019t be one that toys with its victims or the authorities. Here, the crimes are carried out swiftly before moving onto the next kill.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Rot\u2019 may be short but it revs like a rusty chainsaw, gnashing with menace, while \u2018Decompose\u2019 is shorter still with the grinding death acting as a killer pursing prey.<\/p>\n<p>The title cut, \u2018Feast On Flesh\u2019, ominously trudges then quickens, hacking, jangling as MacAulay pukes up another clotted vocal cyst and we are consumed again by gore.<\/p>\n<p>Putrid Fate is now upon us, ravenous in its rampage and manifesting chunky, scowling rhythms to hack up bodies too. You have no choice but to become the next victim.
