When I saw the cover and band name I expected some sort of booze-infested crossover thrash nonsense, but was pleasantly surprised to find that these Finnish dudes are in fact a death metal act.<\/p>\n

This short debut affair makes an immediate impact, combining raw sewage Autopsy worship with urinal tracts of, say, Xysma, yet always remaining Finnish in its grimness.<\/p>\n

The opening title track, \u2018Fuel Injected\u2019, is a blood curdling grindcore trash can thrown out the window onto a truck that crashes, kills its passengers who then quickly return from the dead as zombies. It\u2019s a noise fest of the highest order, but only this bunch can mesh together brain-munching Impetigo splatter with a hippy theme!<\/p>\n

The vocals are simply flesh-chomping salutations, the bass is equally sloppy, clanking and vile, while the guitars and drums just pile up scrap metal towers of rust and puke. The end result is a subterranean paradise for cannibals where the din of these five tracks prompt continuous noise complaints to the local council.<\/p>\n

\u2018Yeah!\u2019 begins like a fetid squirm; a seeping, clogged grind of slurping vocals and slurry-coated bass. Although bands such as Convulse spring to mind there\u2019s that repulsive old school gore grind stain throughout as filthy bass tones slither amidst waves of damp drumming.<\/p>\n

\u2018Blues For The Cosmos\u2019 features the splintered backbone of Atte Ruuska\u2019s early Napalm Death-style drum worship before the congealed mess of bass, guitar and vocal forms as some glutinous, globule of gore.<\/p>\n

The band are masters of creating foul walls of dirt, bone, flesh and bile, summed up by the catchy yet gruesome grind of \u2018Napalm Hippies\u2019. This is music that gives off a vile stench and clutters the lungs, devours the innards and lives off your puke.<\/p>\n

The closing cover of Puhelinkoppi\u2019s \u2018Kaikki Haisee\u2019 just reinforces my belief that the Floridian Hippies are more about gut-munching than peace and love.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait for the tirade of a full-length album.<\/p>\n
