Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based metal band Anvil have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Take A Lesson\u2019. Created by W. Cliff Knese, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Anvil issue 19th full-length studio album Impact Is Imminent<\/em><\/a> on May 20th, 2022 through AFM Records. The outing will be made available in various formats and can be pre-ordered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of our previous albums blends music and lyrics into as tight a unit as Impact Is Imminent<\/em>,\u201d enthused Lips on the 14 songs on the new album. \u201cEverything comes together homogeneously. As a result, the new material sounds monolithic, right down to the very last details, both in terms of rhythm and harmonies.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past, our studio sessions were sometimes like a little like jumping in at the deep end, with us having to improvise a lot and making decisions at short notice. Working on Impact Is Imminent<\/em> not only was there plenty of time for the songwriting process in the run-up to the recordings, but I also had the leisure to put all my ideas to the acid test and work on them until they were perfect.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Impact Is Imminent<\/em> was produced by Martin \u201cMattes\u201d Pfeiffer and J\u00f6rg Uken, while mixing and mastering duties also fell to J\u00f6rg Uken at his Soundlodge studio in Rhauderfehn, Germany.<\/p>\n
