DEATHWHITE Make New Album \u2018Grey Everlasting\u2019 Available For Streaming In Its Entirety<\/strong><\/span>

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based dark melodic metal band Deathwhite issue third full-length studio album Grey Everlasting<\/em> on June 10th, 2022 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Grey Everlasting<\/em> was recorded during May and June 2021 at Cerebral Audio Productions with producer and engineer Shane Mayer. Vocals were again tracked at Erik Rutan\u2019s Mana Recording under the guidance of engineer Art Paiz, while Dan Swan\u00f6 handled mastering at Unisound AB.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have grown accustomed to putting our songs under a microscope, but this album demanded an even deeper examination of where we wanted to go,\u201d Deathwhite commented. \u201cThere was little interest in re-writing Grave Image<\/em>; instead, we had to carve new paths and challenge ourselves musically. We were unafraid to try new things, so, accordingly, the creation process was occasionally arduous. However, it made the result something we are incredibly proud of.\u201d <\/p>\n

Lyrically, Grey Everlasting<\/em> \u201cbalances Deathwhite\u2019s harsh view of the world with themes of self-preservation,\u201d according to a press release. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe album\u2019s lyrics were assembled throughout the pandemic, events that also included strife on the political and human rights front,\u201d Deathwhite said. \u201cAs disheartening as these events were, they were hardly a surprise. The human race has had more than enough time to figure out how to coexist properly, but still cannot get it right\u2026and it never will.\u201d <\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Comentale, once again.<\/p>\n
