Gothenburg, Sweden-based progressive metal band Evergrey issued 13th full-length studio album Escape Of The Phoenix<\/em> on May 20th, 2022 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cHere it is! A new album! Yet again! This is what we love about music, it never ends! Our mission is to write music so here you are! Ten new songs! Ten new Evergrey songs that we hope you will have by your side as your life continues to shift and grow. Ten songs that we wish will be part of the soundtrack when you\u2019re creating new memories and new possibilities in your life. Ten songs that we feel privileged to have you listen to. Ten songs that have risen through the ashes of two years where our creativity has had more time than ever to flourish.<\/p>\n

\u201cTen songs we really hope you will enjoy as much as we did writing them. As usual we have given it our best and we can\u2019t wait to hear what you have to say! A new year, a new album, a new record label = new possibilities. All this can only be positive, right? Enjoy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Escape Of The Phoenix<\/em> was recorded at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg, engineered by Jakob Herrman and produced by Tom S. Englund and Jonas Ekdahl. Mixing and mastering duties fell to Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was once again created by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design).<\/p>\n

Directed by Patric Ullaeus, music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Save Us\u2019, \u2018Midwinter Calls\u2019, \u2018Blindfolded\u2019 and \u2018Ominous\u2019. In addition, an official animated lyric video was also created for \u2018Save Us\u2019. All five clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Twelfth studio record Escape Of The Phoenix<\/em><\/em> was released<\/a> in February 2021 via AFM Records.<\/p>\n
