Newcastle, England-based heavy metal band Satan have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018The Blood Ran Deep\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Satan issued sixth full-length studio album Earth Infernal<\/em> on April 1st, 2022 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

Earth Infernal<\/em> was once again tracked at First Avenue Studio in Newcastle, with Dave Curle engineering and mixing.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, guitarist Russ Tippins said: \u201c\u2018Burning Portrait\u2019 describes the fall of this person, the gradual decline of optimism turning into cynicism, and how ideals, like paint on a picture, can crumble and decay if not maintained properly. The fall happens in his own mind rather than in the real world. He can no longer visualize himself the way he used to and realizes he has turned into the sum of everything he despised as a young idealist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Cruel Magic<\/em> was released<\/a> in September 2018 via Metal Blade.<\/p>\n
