ANGELUS APATRIDA Release Music Video For \u2018Childhood\u2019s End\u2019 Song<\/strong><\/span>

Albacete, Spain-based thrash metal band Angelus Apatrida have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Childhood\u2019s End\u2019. Directed by Fer Morales of Micoco Graphics, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love to write and play straight-to-your-face songs, coming back to our roots; and if it comes with catchy vocals, crazy solos and singable choruses, even better!,\u201d Angelus Apatrida said of the song. \u201cHere you will find our rawest influences in every part: heavy metal, classic hardcore and crossover and pure thrash metal\u2026Crank it up and call your physiotherapist for an appointment, bang-over alert!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding the music video for \u2018Childhood\u2019s End\u2019, Angelus Apatrida shared the following: \u201cWe tried to capture the ferocity of the music and the rawness of the lyrics and put them together in a movie alike videoclip. Our songs are sometimes full of living experiences and they let feelings go out, sometimes we use them to channel our deepest fears and ghosts. And as we can see on movies and TV serials, we think it\u2019s needed to normalize it and show with naturalness tough situations we all see and even suffer in real life. We all deserve to live with dignity, and when time should come we all deserve to die in a dignified way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Angelus Apatrida issued their self-titled seventh full-length studio album on February 5th, 2021 through Century Media Records.<\/p>\n

Angelus Apatrida<\/em> was recorded with Juanan L\u00f3pez in September and October 2020 at Baboon Records in Albacete, Spain, and produced by the band. Mixing and mastering was handled by Christopher \u201cZeuss\u201d Harris at Planet-Z in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Gyula Havancs\u00e1k.<\/p>\n

Regarding the music video for \u2018Bleed The Crown\u2019, Angelus Apatrida commented: \u201cHow to make a cool, straight-to-the-face video during a pandemic lockdown? Just call some friends who actually own an awesome graphics studio, buy tons of beers and let\u2019s get to work! We really wanted to support some local professionals in our town, specially if they\u2019re friends of us and incredible pros; that\u2019s been one of the better points of this. No story, no big deal. Since we can\u2019t perform on stage, we wanted to reflect the real sweat, blood and tears of a real show, so that\u2019s it! The incredible work on lights of Jorge and Juanan made every shot fit perfectly with the rage and attitude of the song itself. No kidding, I think you\u2019ll feel the energy through the screen! We want to thank Fer, Antonio, George, Juanan, Baboon Records, Capit\u00e1n Denim, Ayeres Antiques, Albeniz Albacete and Arenas Audio for their great work and invaluable help!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen your new album is written and recorded during a global pandemic, you might expect some side effects on it,\u201d Angelus Apatrida commented. \u201c\u2018Indoctrinate\u2019 is the opening track of Angelus Apatrida and it\u2019s probably the angriest song we ever composed! It reflects a mix of all feelings experienced throughout this past year and also how people were being radicalized via stupid extremist populism within society. There is no place for racism, fascism, homophobia or any other act of intolerance or bigotry in Rock music. Actually, there is no place for any of it in a civilized, democratic society. And it\u2019s our responsibility to face it and not to look the other way. This is hostile music for hostile times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Created by Josep Caballero of RCV Visual Studio, an official lyric video was released for the track \u2018The Age Of Disinformation\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack to the roots with \u2018The Age Of Disinformation\u2019, fresh and catchy old-school thrash metal song; musically it will bring you back to the golden age of the genre, technically is a galloping piece of gold with crazy solos, riffs and drumming, and those classic frenetic high-pitch insane vocals!,\u201d the group described. \u201cLyrically, well, the story tells itself, we are living the times where more information we have; it\u2019s in our own pockets, in our smartphones, on internet\u2026 and ironically is the age where more misinformed we are, we are slaves to the fake news, the more information we have the less we verify or contrast. No doubt we are in front of one future classic AA song, a neck-breaking on every show, enjoy it!\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, an official visualizer video was created for the song \u2018We Stand Alone\u2019. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe art of speed metal together with groove and strength!,\u201d Angelus Apatrida said. \u201cCatchy but ferocious, \u2018We Stand Alone\u2019 sends a message of unity, of taking care of your close family and friends and stand for them. No doubt it\u2019s gonna be a great anthem on tour singing out loud with one fist in the air and a cold beer (or soda) in the other hand! The video is a cool visualizer made by Josep Caballero from RCV Visual Studio using the piece of art that Gyula Havancs\u00e1k created as the cover of the album. It\u2019s been a pleasure working with these two great artists\u2026hope you enjoy it!\u201d<\/p>\n
