MOONLIGHT HAZE Release New Music Video For \u2018Kintsugi\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Italian symphonic power metal band Moonlight Haze have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Kintsugi\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, vocalist and lyricist Chiara Tricarico said: \u201c\u2018Kintsugi\u2019 is about the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling cracks with precious metals. We too can transform all \u2018cracks\u2019 \u2013 which represent both our weaknesses and the difficult times we sometimes are forced to face \u2013 into something that makes us stronger and more unique, without necessarily having to show fake perfection to the rest of the world. We are all human beings and, as such, we are not infallible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moonlight Haze issued third full-length studio album Animus<\/em> on March 18th, 2022 through Scarlet Records (excluding Japan). Japanese release took place on the same day via Ward Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis record represents a huge step up for Moonlight Haze\u2019s songwriting and sound,\u201d commented frontwoman Chiara Tricarico. \u201cIt got each of us excited since the very first melodies and lines that had been written. It\u2019s an introspective work, but at the same time it looks at the world outside \u2013 willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth. Hence the title, \u2018Animus\u2019, a Latin word that has different meanings: vital force, conscience, soul, mind and courage as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Animus<\/em> was recorded by Moonlight Haze, and mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio.<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the title track and the song \u2018It\u2019s Insane\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the track \u2018We\u2019ll Be Free\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Second studio record Lunaris<\/em> was released in June 2020 via Scarlet.<\/p>\n
