INFECTED RAIN Release Fifth Studio Album \u2018Ecdysis\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Chisinau, Moldova-based metal band Infected Rain issued fifth full-length studio album Ecdysis<\/em> on January 7th, 2022 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Ecdysis<\/em> was produced by Valentin Voluta, once again. The track \u2018The Realm Of Chaos\u2019 features guest vocals from Butcher Babies member Heidi Shepherd.<\/p>\n

Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands commented: \u201cWhile the whole world was in a deep depression, Ecdysis<\/em> was slowly but surely maturing. The time in isolation away from all our plans and goals, away from loved ones and the stage, brought out something so new and different in us. A new chapter starts with this album, a chapter of raw emotions and complete commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, a music video was filmed for the song \u2018Fighter\u2019. \u201cInspired by strong women who never give up, \u2018Fighter\u2019 is a reminder of the here and now!,\u2019\u201d Lena Scissorhands described. \u201c\u2018Fighter\u2019 is a reminder of strength and potential. \u2018Today right now, all you\u2019ve got is this!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, a music video was shot for the track \u2018The Realm Of Chaos\u2019, featuring Heidi Shepherd of Butcher Babies – as mentioned.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018The Realm Of Chaos\u2019 was inspired by the massive depression we all lived in 2020, dedicated to the lost nation and confused society we live in,\u201d Lena Scissorhands said. \u201cTogether with my friend Heidi from Butcher Babies, we implore everyone to stop running and start seeing the tragic reality we all live in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heidi Shepherd added: \u201cInfected Rain have quickly become one of my favourite bands with some of my favourite people. It\u2019s an honour to scream alongside Lena and the boys in their latest single. Everything IR touches turns to gold; this song and video are no exception. Over the past two years, this has been the feature that has been requested more times that I can count. Can\u2019t wait to give the fans what they want in \u2018The Realm Of Chaos\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n

And as well, a music video for the track \u2018Longing\u2019. \u201cNever happy, never content!,\u201d Lena Scissorhands said. \u201cWe spend our life craving and longing for things that someone else has or for things that we think will make us happy. A picture immaculate, perfectly designed. A story in which you\u2019re always desired. What is happiness really?\u201d<\/p>\n
