German thrash metal band Destruction have released a music video for the track \u2018Tormented Soul\u2019. Featuring footage filmed during the band\u2019s appearance at Mexico Metal Fest V in Monterrey on September 23rd, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the video, Destruction mainman Marcel \u201cSchmier\u201d Schirmer said: \u201cThe enthusiasm, energy and euphoria of the Latin American Metal crowds are legendary meanwhile all around the globe. That is the reason why we have filmed the new video clip for \u2018Tormented Soul\u2019 in the middle of our Latin American Attack tour, at the Mexico Metal Fest! It was always a dream to do this and of course the fans did not disappoint: they are the star of this olds chool music video – dive into the stamina and the lunacy of a dedicated hispanic crowd! This is METAL – this is WHY we do this!\u201d<\/p>\n

Destruction issued 16th full-length studio album Diabolical<\/em><\/a> on April 8th, 2022 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Schmier commented: \u201cThis was the most fun we had working on a record in a very long time and you can hear that. Yes, it was theoretically a difficult album but we did not think this way while we recorded it. We just followed our emotions, jammed and rocked out with a strong gut feeling! This recording was like a therapy to me – we all know how difficult the times are at the moment. So I\u2019m super happy how everything turned out!\u201d<\/p>\n

Guitarist Martin Furia added: \u201cDiabolical<\/em> is an album of extremes, everything is more brutal and more technical but at the same time more melodic and to the point. It\u2019s a pure and devastating Destruction album with no gimmicks, full of power and adrenaline. I\u2019m excited for what the future is bringing and can\u2019t wait to play the new songs live!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, guitarist Damir Eski\u0107 stated: \u201cIt was a real honour for me to record this album. The studio work for Diabolical<\/em> was very spontaneous and we had a lot of fun creating these dynamic, multifaceted and brutal but diverse songs. I loved every second working on this record!\u201d<\/p>\n

The cover artwork was once again created by Hungarian artist Gyula Havancs\u00e1k.<\/p>\n

The song \u2018State Of Apathy\u2019 was previously issued<\/a> as a digital single on August 19th, 2021 through Napalm Records. The label also released a limited edition 12-inch slipcase vinyl version on September 10th.<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the title track, \u2018State Of Apathy\u2019, \u2018No Faith In Humanity\u2019 and \u2018Repent Your Sins\u2019. All four clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fifteenth studio record Born To Perish<\/em> was released<\/a> in August 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n
