Los Angeles, California-based extreme metal band Abysmal Dawn issue four-song EP Nightmare Frontier<\/em> on February 4th, 2022 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Frontman Charles Elliott commented: \u201cOur new EP is a available to check out now! It includes a Bloodborne inspired track, a re-recorded song from our first album, an In Flames cover and a Candlemass cover with some unexpected clean vocals. It was fun to explore and pay tribute to some of our more melodic influences on this one. Enjoy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nightmare Frontier<\/em> was mostly recorded at Tastemaker Audio in Los Angeles, with the exception of the drum parts which were recorded at Trench Studios in Corona, California. Production, mixing, mastering and sound engineering was handled by frontman Charles Elliot, with additional drum engineering by John Haddad.<\/p>\n

Craig Peters organised the orchestral arrangement on the track \u2018Behind Space\u2019, meanwhile.<\/p>\n

Fourth studio record Phylogenesis<\/em> was released<\/a> in April 2020 via Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n
