Jonqui\u00e8re, Qu\u00e9bec, Canada-based metal band Vo\u00efvod issued 15th full-length studio album Synchro Anarchy<\/em> on February 11th, 2022 through Century Media Records.<\/p>\n

Michel \u201cAway\u201d Langevin commented: \u201cWe are eager to present our latest work, a real collaborative effort. The new album represents countless hours of writing, demoing, recording, mixing and so on. The band and Francis Perron at RadicArt Studio gave their very best to make it happen under unusual circumstances, which led us to call it Synchro Anarchy<\/em>. We feel that the sound and music are 100% Vo\u00efvod, and we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we had fun making it. We certainly can\u2019t wait to play it live.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded and mixed by Francis Perron at RadicArt Recording Studio in Mont-Carmel, Qu\u00e9bec, while mastering duties fell to Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

Directed by Syl Disjonk (5600 K Productions), a music video was filmed for the title track, while animated music videos were created for the songs \u2018Planet Eaters\u2019 and \u2018Quest For Nothing\u2019 – the latter created by Luc Leclerc (Above The Void).<\/p>\n

Speaking about \u2018Quest For Nothing\u2019, drummer Michel \u201cAway\u201d Langevin said: \u201cWhen AI art started appearing online a few months ago, my jaw dropped to the floor. When Luc Leclerc, the webmaster for Vo\u00efvod, showed me what he could do with AI animation, my jaw dropped to the basement! His video perfectly captures the dystopian side of the music and lyrics for \u2018Quest For Nothing\u2019. Hold on tight to your seat and enjoy!\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, official lyric videos were created for the tracks \u2018Paranormalium\u2019 and \u2018Sleeves Off\u2019. All five clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fourteenth studio record The Wake<\/em><\/a> was released<\/a> in September 2018 via Century Media.<\/p>\n
