THULCANDRA Release Fourth Studio Album \u2018A Dying Wish\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

German black \/ death metal band Thulcandra issued fourth full-length studio album A Dying Wish<\/em> on October 29th, 2021 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Thulcandra commented: \u201cWe return with an album full of eerie cold melodies, ice-cold vibes and an over the top production by Swedish legend Dan Swan\u00f6 at Unisound Studios! Within the first album in five years we celebrate the essence of pure black & death metal, adorned with more twin guitars, blast beats and filthy arrangements than ever. We celebrate the release of A Dying Wish<\/em> with excessive shows and embark on a European tour to perform for all our loyal fans and supporters in the upcoming months.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Dying Wish<\/em> was produced at Unisound Studio by Dan Swan\u00f6, as referenced. The album marked the only Thulcandra album to feature bassist Christian Kratzer, who died on August 21st, 2020 as the result of an accident.<\/p>\n

Music videos were released for the tracks \u2018Funeral Pyre\u2019 and \u2018Nocturnal Heresy\u2019. Both clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Directed by Grupa13, a music video was also filmed for the title track. Speaking about the video, Thulcandra mainman Steffen Kummerer said: \u201cThe title track of our brand new album A Dying Wish<\/em> sees the first cinematic video production of Thulcandra. We traveled abroad and worked with the renowned Grupa13 (Behemoth, Arch Enemy, Kreator) to come up with a storyline that underlines the vibe and pace of the eight minute long effort.\u201d<\/p>\n

Third studio record Ascension Lost<\/em> was released in January 2015 via Napalm.<\/p>\n
