Los Angeles, California-based heavy metal band Armored Saint have released a live performance video for the track \u2018Spineless\u2019. Taken from the recently released live DVD Symbol Of Salvation Live<\/em>, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band\u2019s May 1991 Symbol Of Salvation<\/em> album, Armored Saint issued live CD \/ DVD set Symbol Of Salvation Live<\/em> on October 22nd, 2021 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded during the North American leg of Armored Saint\u2019s Symbol Of Salvation tour at The Gramercy Theatre in New York on July 13th, and captures the band performing their fourth full-length studio record in its entirety.<\/p>\n

Bassist Joey Vera commented: \u201cI felt like showing Symbol…<\/em> in another light was a great homage to the record itself. Also, having all the fans be there and part of that event is a way for us to say \u2018Thank you!\u2019 For, without them, we can\u2019t do any of this in the first place.\u201d<\/p>\n

As an extra bonus, the vinyl and digital versions of the record contain five demo tracks from the Symbol Of Salvation<\/em> writing sessions with late guitarist Dave Prichard, which have never been released on that format. Prichard passed away<\/a> on February 28th, 1990 at the age of 26 following a battle with leukaemia. \u201cThey\u2019re songs that didn\u2019t make the record, however, there still is a vibe to those tunes, plus Dave\u2019s playing is on them, so that makes them special,\u201d said vocalist John Bush.<\/p>\n

These tracks make for welcome additions, helping to further celebrate the record, and the band are just happy and respectful of the fact they have reached this anniversary. \u201cIf you would have told me 30 years ago that we\u2019d be talking about this today, I would have told you that you were crazy,\u201d added Vera. \u201cAll we\u2019ve ever wanted was to make our own music, to take joy and take pride in doing it. The fact that we also have very loyal fans who continue to support what we do is the best icing on this cake. I try to look at our records as objectively as possible, and when I can do that, I\u2019m very proud that this record is a huge part of the band\u2019s legacy, and I am extremely humbled that I\u2019m a part of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Symbol Of Salvation Live<\/em> was mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
