Warsaw, Poland-based black \/ death metal band Hate have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Exiles Of Pantheon\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song and video, frontman ATF Sinner stated: \u201cWe\u2019re extremely proud to present this picture for one of the most brutal and vicious tracks on Rugia<\/em>. The song is about an old faith being reborn through an unholy, blood-soaked ritual. There are references to archaic beliefs on the island of Rugia \u2013 the last bastion of western Slavic paganism.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking this video was one hell of a challenge, because we were shooting throughout the night in extreme weather conditions. In the end, I think we got a picture that fits perfectly with the music. Watching it, you can almost feel freezing cold rain slashing at your face. I\u2019ve no doubt our best video thus far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hate issued 12th full-length studio album Rugia<\/em> on October 15th, 2021 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

Regarding the new album, ATF Sinner said: \u201cIt was clear to me that it should build upon and evolve from our previous record, Auric Gates Of Veles<\/em> (2019), both musically and lyrically. However, every Hate record stands as a separate journey, and never twice to the same place. You never know exactly where it will lead you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rugia<\/em> is the first Hate album to feature new drummer Daniel \u201cNar-Sil\u201d Rusi\u0142owicz, who replaced Pawe\u0142 \u201cPavulon\u201d Jaroszewicz in 2020. Pavulon, who had played with the band since 2014, was forced to step down due to serious health issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking with a new drummer this time around was a fascinating experience for me,\u201d revealed Sinner. \u201cNar-Sil\u2019s technique and presence are quite different from Pavulon\u2019s, and that definitely comes across. I believe we managed to construct a refreshing new chapter to our discography, composing nine truly sinister onslaughts of pure rage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hate are also celebrating 30 years of activity with Rugia<\/em>, and Sinner affirmed that he is still as driven as ever. \u201cWell, the fire is still burning! I\u2019m proud that I have built a band with such strong energy, that\u2019s lasted for a long time in spite of numerous line-up changes and obstacles in our way. We are still here and we create with ever growing consciousness and dedication. The energy speaks through us. Honestly, I think of the band as something much bigger and more profound than the individual people involved in it over any given period of time. I believe we create a channel for energies that surpass us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rugia<\/em> was recorded, mixed and mastered by the Wies\u0142aski Brothers (Wojtek and S\u0142awek) at Hertz Recording Studio in Bia\u0142ystok, Poland.<\/p>\n
