AFTERMATH Release Official Lyric Video For \u2018Chaos\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Chicago, Illinois-based technical progressive thrash metal band Aftermath have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Chaos\u2019. Created by Great Heights Design Video Studio, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The original version of \u2018Chaos\u2019 appeared on the band\u2019s June 1987 five-song demo cassette Killing The Future<\/em><\/a>, while this remastered version is available for streaming and downloading on all platforms. It also appears on CD via Divebomb Records on the remastered Killing The Future<\/em>, released on October 30th, 2015.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song and video exclusively to Metal Forces<\/em>, vocalist Kyriakos \u201cCharlie\u201d Tsiolis said: \u201cWe wrote \u2018Chaos\u2019 and all the other tracks on our demo Killing The Future<\/em> back in 1986 \/ 87. We wanted to record the fastest songs ever. Some say we accomplished it. Way before triggers and pro tools. Killing The Future<\/em> was pure speed and aggression.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Chaos\u2019 – the title says it all. I wrote the lyrics back in 1986 not really understanding why I felt that way. Looking back at it now I can\u2019t believe how relevant they are today. That\u2019s why we\u2019re releasing this brand new video. \u2018Question everything before it\u2019s too late.\u2019 That\u2019s what the message to the kid in the video is – things aren\u2019t ok look outside your bubble.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aftermath are currently in the studio working on their third full-length album, with Chuck Macak (Electrowerks) once again handling engineering duties. The new album will be a follow-up to the band\u2019s September 2019 concept album There Is Something Wrong<\/em>. According to the band: \u201cThe new record is like nothing Aftermath has ever written before. Then again, the band never sticks to a formula. N.T.T.W. is the acronym of the title. The actual title to be revealed later perfectly captures the message of the lyrics on the album. Musically, the band ebbs and flows through a sonic soundscape spanning the decades of metal.\u201d<\/p>\n
