MINISTRY Unveil Music Video For \u2018Sabotage Is Sex\u2019 Track Feat. Jello Biafra<\/strong><\/span>

Chicago, Illinois-born industrial metal band Ministry have released a musuc video for the track \u2018Sabotage Is Sex\u2019. Directed by Joel Smith (Mad Minute Productions) and featuring guest vocals from Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the video, Ministry mainman Al Jourgensen said: \u201cJello and I have been friends and music collaborators for decades. I had no idea he\u2019d never done a video before and I\u2019m honoured to pop that creative cherry for him on \u2018Sabotage Is Sex\u2019. It\u2019s crazy how tech savvy we\u2019ve all gotten yet somehow it all seems very punk rock to shoot a video at home with just an iPhone. Who knows, maybe one day there will be a Lard video?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jello Biafra added: \u201cMy compliments to the chef!! Not like any other Ministry video either. It\u2019s amazing what can be done dirt cheap in your bedroom, with some kool found footage and a few clever ideas. Two phones, two takes and my work is done. Fun! I knew there\u2019d finally come a day where I could bust out those Fez hats kids stole from their parents, and threw at Dead Kennedys on our \u201985 FrankenChrist tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ministry issued 15th full-length studio album Moral Hygiene<\/em> on October 1st, 2021 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Al Jourgensen commented: \u201cThe good thing about literally taking a year off from any social activity or touring is that you really get to sit back and get an overview of things as they are happening, as opposed to being caught up in the moment. And what I saw with how we handled several public crises – from the pandemic to racial injustice to who we vote in to lead our country – is that times are changing, and society needed to change to get away from the idea that has permeated us of take care of yourself, fuck everything else. Now more than ever we need moral hygiene. It consumed me as I wrote this album. It\u2019s not some pious term. It\u2019s what we have to return to in order to function as the human species on this planet. And I’m proud to have had such great guests on this album to help cement that message like Billy Morrison, Jello Biafra and Arabian Prince.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moral Hygiene<\/em> was recorded with engineer Michael Rozon at Scheisse Dog Studio, Jourgensen\u2019s self-built home studio and creative lab.<\/p>\n

All songs were written and performed by Al Jourgensen, with additional guest contributions from Billy Morrison (Billy Idol, Royal Machines), Cesar Soto (Man The Mute), John Bechdel (Killing Joke, Fear Factory), Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour \/ Soulfly \/ Nausea), Paul D\u2019Amour (Tool \/ Feersum Ennjin), Arabian Prince (N.W.A.), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) and sitar player Flash.<\/p>\n

Fourteenth studio record AmeriKKKant<\/em> was released<\/a> in March 2018 via Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n
