Icelandic technical death metal band Ophidian I issued second full-length studio album Desolate<\/em> on July 16th, 2021 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Desolate<\/em> was recorded at Sundlaugin Studio near \u00c1lafoss in the town of Mosfellsb\u00e6r, Iceland, and produced by Dan\u00edel M\u00e1ni Konr\u00e1\u00f0sson. Stephen Lockhart engineered for the drums, while guitars, bass and vocals were engineered by Dan\u00edel M\u00e1ni Konr\u00e1\u00f0sson in collaboration with the band. Mixing and mastering was handled by Cryptopsy guitarist Christian Donaldson at The Grid, meanwhile.<\/p>\n

Julian Parry provides guest vocals on the track \u2018Dominion Eyes\u2019.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Eliran Kantor.<\/p>\n
