Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Finland-based death \/ doom metal band Swallow The Sun have released a live performance video for the track \u201866\u00b050\u2019N, 28\u00b040\u2019E\u2019. Taken from the band\u2019s forthcoming live DVD 20 Years Of Gloom, Beauty And Despair \u2013 Live In Helsinki<\/em>, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Swallow The Sun issue live album 20 Years Of Gloom, Beauty And Despair \u2013 Live In Helsinki<\/em> on July 30th, 2021 through Century Media Records. The outing will be made available in the following formats: limited 2CD+DVD digipak, gatefold 3LP+DVD and digital album.<\/p>\n

Frontman Mikko Kotam\u00e4ki commented: \u201cFinally some good news after a year of cancellations and shitshow! We managed to play only 10 of these special 20th anniversary gigs before the whole world shut down in March 2020 and the rest of the tour got cancelled. Luckily we filmed and recorded one of the gigs, which we now release as our very first live album as we wait to be able to get back on stages again. Enjoy!\u201d<\/p>\n

About the production, he stated: \u201cWe played the whole Songs From The North II<\/em> with a string quartet\u2014comprised of very professional musicians, two of whom played on our previous album and appeared with us on the 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise in 2018. For the first time, we also asked our fans on social media to vote for their favourite songs from each album. We then played the most-voted songs from every album.\u201d<\/p>\n
