VULTURE Release Third Studio Album \u2018Dealin\u2019 Death\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

German thrash \/ speed metal band Vulture issued third full-length studio album Dealin\u2019 Death<\/em> on May 21st, 2021 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

\u201cTake all our key elements – fierce riffing, halftone-shifts, aggressive vocals, huge toms, changing dynamics, horror-synths and classical twin guitar harmonies and cast it in a mould, then you have Dealin\u2019 Death<\/em>,\u201d said guitarist Stefan Castevet. \u201cThe result sounds a little \u2018back to the EP-ish\u2019 to my ears, yet it contains new approaches that we’ve never included in our sound so far, like choirs with harmonies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The recording process for Dealin\u2019 Death<\/em> was overseen by two separate collaborators: the album was recorded at Monkey Moon Studios in Dortmund by Alexander St\u00f6cker, the guitarist of Stallion, while the production was once more handled by Marco Brinkmann at Hellforge Studio. \u201cThis cooperation turned out great!\u201d enthused vocalist Leo Steeler. \u201cAlex\u2019s way of recording and the whole studio atmosphere was pretty motivating and inspiring for all of us. Marco, on the other hand, knows exactly how we should sound and already became literally the sixth member of the band.\u201d <\/p>\n

Vulture worked 12-hour days for ten days in a row. \u201cI think Dealin\u2019 Death<\/em> is the best we\u2019ve ever sounded. The mix itself is absolutely flawless to my ears,\u201d said Castevet. \u201cIt\u2019s way more direct and less reverb-soaked than its predecessor. It was very important for us this time, to take advice from Marco and make all key elements audible for the listener. The vocals sound piercing, the bass is present, delivering warmth throughout the whole mix, and the guitars have the best sound we\u2019ve ever had, and the same goes for drums. It\u2019s very natural and dynamic, but straight to the point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Velio Josto Artudi.<\/p>\n

Dealin\u2019 Death<\/em> was made available in the following vinyl formats; 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive), slate grey marbled vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 500 copies), blood red \/ black marbled deluxe edition vinyl with flag, tape, and sticker (EU exclusive – limited to 300 copies), leaf green marbled vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies), black w\/ red splash vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies), and dark teal marbled vinyl (US exclusive).<\/p>\n

Music videos were released for the title track and the songs \u2018Malicious Souls\u2019 and \u2018Star-Crossed City\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Second studio record Ghastly Waves & Battered Graves<\/em> was released<\/a> in June 2019 via Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n
