German power metal band Powerwolf issued eighth full-length studio album proper Call Of The Wild<\/em> on July 16th, 2021 through Napalm Records. Special editions of the release (2-CD mediabook, 3-LP vinyl box set, 3-CD earbook, and digital versions) include a bonus album, Missa Cantorem<\/em>, featuring a cross-section of previous Powerwolf songs with newly recorded vocals by friends and companions of the band.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Matthew Greywolf commented: \u201cWith Call Of The Wild<\/em> we are opening a new, exciting chapter in the history of Powerwolf. The album sounds unmistakably like Powerwolf and is so much more at the same time: Besides new territory like the Celtic instrumentation in \u2018Blood For Blood (Faoladh)\u2019 or the ballad like \u2018Alive Or Undead\u2019 we have raised all our trademarks to a new level. Until now, we never sounded so powerful and wild – in the truest sense of the word. We can\u2019t wait to finally share this beast of an album with you all!\u201d<\/p>\n

Seventh studio record The Sacrament Of Sin<\/em> was released<\/a> in July 2018 via Napalm Records.<\/p>\n
