IOTUNN Release Acoustic Medley Performance Video For New Album \u2018Access All Worlds\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Danish progressive power metal band Iotunn have released a 12-minute \u2018Acoustic Medley\u2019 performance video containing acoustic arrangements for all seven songs from the band\u2019s latest album Access All Worlds<\/em>. Featuring guitarists Jesper Gr\u00e4s and Jens Nicolai Gr\u00e4s, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Iotunn issued debut full-length studio album Access All Worlds<\/em> on February 26th, 2021 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Access All Worlds<\/em> was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordstr\u00f6m at Fredman Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to make an epic, strong and atmospheric yet rocking record both musically and lyrically,\u201dsaid guitarist Jens Nicolai Gr\u00e4s. \u201cJ\u00f3n [Aldar\u00e1, vocals] came with the idea based on space travelers trying to find answers to the apocalypse, which reflects many of the impressions, feelings and thoughts human life holds that originates from something vast, mysterious, chaotic and breathtakingly spectacular. Everything just went berserk regarding the album theme. Is everything occurring in the lyrics just a dream? Is the album an allegory for any individual\u2019s chapters in life? Where does the album actually start and end? Stuff like that. We find that the album can be interpreted in various ways. For us, the album is a truly exciting journey, and we hope it will be for the listener as well, on his or her own terms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Eliran Kantor, with design and layout by Nicole Kantor.<\/p>\n

Access All Worlds<\/em> was made available in the following vinyl formats; 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive), \u201cdeep space\u201d marbled vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies), \u201cmoonscape\u201d marbled vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies), red \/ black dust vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 100 copies), and \u201curanus\u201d blue \/ white marbled vinyl (US exclusive).<\/p>\n

A music video was released for the track \u2018The Tower Of Cosmic Nihility\u2019. In addition, animated music videos were created for the songs \u2018Voyage Of The Garganey I\u2019 and \u2018The Weaver System\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n
