Lafayette, Louisana-based hardcore band Capra have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Red Guillotine\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Capra issued debut full-length studio album In Transmission<\/em> on April 23rd, 2021 through Blacklight Media \/ Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

Predominantly tracked in December 2019, In Transmission<\/em> was recorded with Jai Benoit, mixed by Taylor Young and mastered by Brad Boatwright. The only exceptions were \u2018Mutt\u2019, \u2018Transfiguration\u2019, and \u2018Deadbeat Assailant\u2019, which were recorded during the pandemic lockdown, and required the members to go into the studio individually to lay down their parts rather than all going in together. <\/p>\n

The hardest aspect of making In Transmission<\/em> turned out to be naming it. \u201cWe went through a plethora of titles trying to find what we felt was the perfect name,\u201d said bassist Ben Paramore. \u201cWe\u2019ve been sitting on the majority of this record since the end of 2019 and had originally hoped to send it out to the masses mid-summer, but thanks to the pandemic, all of that obviously got pushed back. In a lot of ways, this is a message we\u2019ve been trying to send out that has essentially been stuck or lost in transmission for a year now, and we\u2019re all ready for that message to finally be received.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Transmission<\/em> was made available in the following coloured vinyl formats: white \/ black marbled vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 250 copies), yellow with black dust vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 250 copies), and clear with pink and black splatter vinyl (US exclusive).<\/p>\n

Music videos was filmed for the tracks ‘The Locust Preacher\u2019, \u2018Torture Ship\u2019 and \u2018Medusa\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n
