THERION Unveil Music Video For \u2018Nocturnal Light\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Stockholm, Sweden-based symphonic metal band Therion have released a music video for the track \u2018Nocturnal Light\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, Therion mainman Christofer Johnsson said: \u201cThis is a very epic song with Middle Eastern influences written by Thomas Vikstr\u00f6m. The lyrics deal with the Sumerian goddess Inanna. It was one of his first contributions to the Leviathan<\/em> writing sessions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Therion issued 17th full-length studio album Leviathan<\/em> on January 22nd, 2021 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have done the only thing that was left of all the different angles to explore,\u201d Christofer Johnsson commented. \u201cWe have decided to give the people what they kept asking for. Leviathan<\/em> is the first album that we have deliberately packed with Therion hit songs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leviathan<\/em> is named after a giant sea monster from Judeo-Christian myth that has roots in Babylonic lore.<\/p>\n

Leviathan<\/em> was made available in the following vinyl colours; black, clear (limited to 300 copies), gold (limited to 300 – mailorder only), and silver (limited to to 600 – USA exclusive).<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Die Wellen der Zeit\u2019, \u2018Tuonela\u2019 and \u2018Eye Of Algol\u2019. In addition, an animated lyric video was created for the title track. All four clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Sixteenth studio record Beloved Antichrist<\/em> was released<\/a> in February 2018 via Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n
