S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil-based thrash metal band Nervosa have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Genocidal Command\u2019. Featuring guest vocals from Destuction frontman Marcel \u201cSchmier\u201d Schirmer, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Nervosa issued fourth full-length studio album Perpetual Chaos<\/em> on January 22nd, 2021 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

A four-part documentary featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of Perpetual Chaos<\/em> can also be accessed below.<\/p>\n

The outing is the first Nervosa album with the band\u2019s new line-up, which was revealed<\/a> in May 2020. Founding member and guitarist Prika Amaral has been joined by vocalist Diva Satanica (Bloodhunter), bassist Mia Wallace (ex-Triumph Of Death \/ ex-Abbath), and drummer Eleni Nota (Mask Of Prospero). The line-up changes followed the departure of Fernanda Lira (vocals and bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), who left Nervosa in April 2020 for \u201cpersonal\u201d reasons.<\/p>\n

Making guest contributions on the album are Destuction mainman Marcel \u201cSchmier\u201d Schirmer (vocals on \u2018Genocidal Command\u2019), Flotsam And Jetsam frontman Erik A.K. (vocals on \u2018Rebel Soul\u2019), and KroW \/ Entombed A.D. guitarist Guilherme Miranda (solo on \u2018Until The Very End\u2019).<\/p>\n

Perpetual Chaos<\/em> was recorded in Artesonao Casa de Grabaci\u00f3n Studio in M\u00e1laga, Spain and co-produced by Prika Amaral and Martin Furia. Mastering duties fell to Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio in Nijlen, Belgium.<\/p>\n

Prika Amaral commented: \u201cIt was a wonderful experience with these girls. They are all very talented and did an excellent job. I have never been so happy with the final result of a record. I chose Artesonao studio in M\u00e1laga, because it is isolated and in an extremely beautiful place, we worked hard but we had the best vibe between us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diva Satanica added: \u201cIt was undoubtedly a very intense process in every way. Not only did we learn to work together, but also to get to know each other and live together. I am very lucky to be able to be part of a project like this and I am sure that with the release of this album, Nervosa will take a very important step in its career. Working with Martin Furia was incredible, he helped me to find nuances in my voice that I didn\u2019t know I had. Get ready, for a new era more powerful than ever!\u201d<\/p>\n
