San Francisco, California-based thrash metal band Death Angel have released a music video for their acoustic rendition of Queen & David Bowie\u2019s 1981 hit single \u2018Under Pressure\u2019. Directed by Tricia Aguilar, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Death Angel issued four-song digital EP Under Pressure<\/em> on October 9th, 2020 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Mark Osegueda commented: \u201cThe Under Pressure<\/em> EP is something I feel that we needed to release during these very frustrating times. These are very heavy times, and although it\u2019s an all-acoustic EP it\u2019s heavy in a different sense of the word. And music is how we express ourselves best!<\/p>\n

\u201cThese times will eventually pass and we shall all regroup and once again celebrate the other side of HEAVY that is the foundation of our truly fantastic metal scene! Until then… Stay safe, healthy, and happy! I hope you enjoy!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Guitarist Rob Cavestany added: \u201cWhat started out as simply expressing emotion through music as a cathartic reaction to the madness engulfing our world, has turned into our first EP. Pure, raw and spontaneous, it\u2019s also our first all-acoustic release. Hoping this offering finds you well and brings warmth to your heart and soul. Together we shall overcome! Thank you for listening.\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as the cover rendition of \u2018Under Pressure\u2019, the EP also includes a brand new original song \u2018Faded Remains\u2019 and two newly recorded acoustic versions of \u2018A Room With A View\u2019 (from April 1990\u2019s Act III<\/em>) and \u2018Revelation Song\u2019 (from May 2019\u2019s Humanicide<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Under Pressure<\/em> was mixed by Max Norman, while mastering duties fell to Ted Jensen.<\/p>\n
