BURNING WITCHES Release Limited Edition Vinyl EP \u2018The Circle Of Five\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Brugg, Switzerland-based heavy metal band Burning Witches issued limited edition four-song vinyl EP The Circle Of Five<\/em> on December 4th, 2020 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cDue to a high demand from fans, we are luckily able to release these special songs. These tracks were all created in these current circumstances, and are now available together on one vinyl EP. We love the fact that our devotees and the label still supports those unique vinyl releases! In these digital times it is more important than ever!\u201d<\/p>\n

The title track, \u2018The Circle Of Five\u2019, was previously issued as a stand-alone digital single on September 17th, 2020 and is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Circle Of Five\u2019, marks the first new Burning Witches material to feature lead guitarist Larissa Ernst. Ernst replaced Sonia Nusselder, whose departure was officially confirmed on May 24th, 2020.<\/p>\n

At the time of the song\u2019s initial release, guitarist Romana Kalkuhl said: \u201cWe are hungry for action and proud to present you with this new song that reflects the band pretty well: it\u2019s a bit freaky – high on gain and shows that we are a strong unit again! Larissa shows you here why she is the perfect person to play lead axe for us \u2013 please give her a warm welcome, she deserves the very best! And now enjoy this new riff-monster \u2018The Circle Of Five\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n

Larissa Ernst added: \u201cToday is a big day for me, yes it\u2019s out! After two productive and amazing days in the studio, here comes the first song and video I recorded with my sisters of Burning Witches. I\u2019m heavily proud to be part of \u2018The Circle Of Five\u2019 and the whole great metal family that belongs to the WITCHES. Enjoy and stay metal!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Burning Witches\u2019 manager and Destruction mainman Marcel \u201cSchmier\u201d Schirmer stated: \u201cIndeed the circle is now completed with Larissa. It was amazing to see how the girls have been growing throughout the last months! This new song is a strong statement for the next album and the future of this bright shining Heavy Metal diamond that the girls are! All hail to the WITCHES!\u201d<\/p>\n
