SURMA Make Debut Album \u2018The Light Within\u2019 Available For Streaming In Its Entirety<\/strong><\/span>

International metal band Surma issue debut full-length studio album The Light Within<\/em> on November 6th, 2020 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Surma paired Bohemian Metal Rhapsody vocalist Viktorie Surm\u00f8v\u00e1 with T\u00fdr guitarist \/ vocalist Heri Joensen, the group forming in 2018. The majority of 2019 was spent writing, arranging and recording the music that would comprise their debut. <\/p>\n

Lars Vinther arranged most of the orchestrations, with Joensen also contributing somewhat. Maintaining overall control over proceedings, Surm\u00f8v\u00e1 and Joensen produced the record themselves in the guitarist\u2019s home studio with the drums tracked in Moscow.<\/p>\n

The Light Within<\/em> was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Gyula Havancs\u00e1k.<\/p>\n

The Light Within<\/em> will be made available in the following vinyl formats; 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive), lilac marbled vinyl (EU exclusive, limited to 200 copies), grey \/ black marbled vinyl (EU exclusive, limited to 200 copies), and violet blue marbled vinyl (US exclusive).<\/p>\n

A music video was filmed for the track \u2018Until It Rains Again\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Reveal The Light Within\u2019. Both clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n
