COUNTLESS SKIES Release Second Studio Album \u2018Glow\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Hertfordshire, England-based melodic death metal group Countless Skies issued second full-length studio album Glow<\/em> on November 6th, 2020 through Willowtip Records.<\/p>\n

Glow<\/em> can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

The bulk of Glow<\/em> was recorded in the home studio of guitarist James Pratt, namely Cinnamon Studios. \u201cIt took a lot of learning and some expensive purchases, but it did have its upside,\u201d Pratt commented. \u201cNot under the normal time constraints of being in a studio, we could take more risks, and get better performances from everyone. We also spent a lot of time adding more layers, harmonies, and even some extra instruments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drums were recorded by Forbes Coleman at Audiobeach Studios in Brighton, England.<\/p>\n

Guest vocalists as part of the choir on the track \u2018Summit\u2019 include Anthony Trimming, RJ Learmouth, and Vicky Harley.<\/p>\n

\u2018Summit\u2019 and \u2018Glow – Part 1: Resolution\u2019 feature cello parts from Arianna Mahsayeh, while piano parts were lent to the songs \u2018Tempest\u2019, \u2018Zephyr\u2019, and \u2018Glow – Part 1: Resolution\u2019 by Marcello Ciciriello.<\/p>\n

Glow<\/em> was mixed and mastered by Juho R\u00e4ih\u00e4 of SoundSpiral Audio in Kouvola, Finland.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Carl Ellis.<\/p>\n
