Barcelona, Spain-based progressive extreme metal group Obsidian Kingdom have released a live performance video for the track \u2018Womb Of Wire\u2019. Featuring guest vocals from former Obsidian Kingdom singer Irene Tall\u00f3 and filmed during the band\u2019s AMFest 2020 set at Montju\u00efc Castle in Barcelona on December 5th, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Regarding the video, the band stated: \u201cMeat Machine<\/em> didn\u2019t always sound like you hear it today. Irene\u2019s departure from the band before the album came out meant that we had to re-write a lot of finished songs in a rush if we ever wanted to play them again in front of a live audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cNevertheless, last December we had the privilege to have her on stage with us, so now you have the chance to enjoy \u2018Womb Of Wire\u2019 just like it was meant to be before we parted ways. This song was actually her idea from the start, so it is only fair that you hear it from her lips.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obsidian Kingdom issued third full-length studio album Meat Machine<\/em> on September 25th, 2020 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

Meat Machine<\/em> was recorded and mixed at Ax Studios and Cal Pau Recordings in Barcelona during the summer of 2019, with production from Jorge Mur and co-production by Mr. Ax and Obsidian Kingdom. Mixing was handled by Jorge Mur at Ax Studios, while mastering was handled by Magnus Lindberg at Redmont Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.<\/p>\n

Jorge Mur (accredited as Jr Morgue) provided microwave sounds for the track \u2018Womb Of Wire\u2019, as well as bowed guitars for the song \u2018A Foe\u2019.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Ritxi Ost\u00e1riz And Elena Gall\u00e9n, as mentioned.<\/p>\n
