Featuring guest vocals from former Obsidian Kingdom singer Irene Talló and filmed during the band’s AMFest 2020 set at Montjuïc Castle in Barcelona on December 5th, the clip can be viewed below.

Regarding the video, the band stated: “Meat Machine didn’t always sound like you hear it today. Irene’s departure from the band before the album came out meant that we had to re-write a lot of finished songs in a rush if we ever wanted to play them again in front of a live audience.

“Nevertheless, last December we had the privilege to have her on stage with us, so now you have the chance to enjoy ‘Womb Of Wire’ just like it was meant to be before we parted ways. This song was actually her idea from the start, so it is only fair that you hear it from her lips.”

Obsidian Kingdom issued third full-length studio album Meat Machine on September 25th, 2020 through Season Of Mist.

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.

Obsidian Kingdom commented: “Behold the terrible and wondrous Meat Machine! This condensation of four years of blood, sweat and steaks will soon be pummelling your ears. It is our most savage work to date: beautiful and cruel, abject and stentorian like a love letter from a school shooter. The glorious album artwork, designed by geniuses Elena Gallén and Ritxi Ostáriz, speaks volumes of the music that you’re going to find in it: raw, elegant and in your face!

“Forget everything you’ve heard from us before – this album is going to knock off your socks. Crushing industrial rhythms, biting guitar arrangements and funky beats will mercilessly drop you into a nightmarish world of forbidden desires, frustrated sexual urges and the dark realms of the subconscious mind. You’re in for a ride!”

Meat Machine was recorded and mixed at Ax Studios and Cal Pau Recordings in Barcelona during the summer of 2019, with production from Jorge Mur and co-production by Mr. Ax and Obsidian Kingdom. Mixing was handled by Jorge Mur at Ax Studios, while mastering was handled by Magnus Lindberg at Redmont Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.

Jorge Mur (accredited as Jr Morgue) provided microwave sounds for the track ‘Womb Of Wire’, as well as bowed guitars for the song ‘A Foe’.

Cover artwork duties fell to Ritxi Ostáriz And Elena Gallén, as mentioned.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘The Edge’
02. ‘The Pump’
03. ‘Mr Pan’
04. ‘Naked Politics’
05. ‘Flesh World’
06. ‘Meat Star’
07. ‘Spanker’
08. ‘Vogue’
09. ‘Womb Of Wire’
10. ‘A Foe’

Obsidian Kingdom’s line-up is as follows:

Rider G Omega (vocals and guitar)
Viral Vector Lips (guitar)
Om Rex Orale (bass)
Ojete Mordaza II (drums)
Jade Riot Cul (keyboards)

Directed by Ferran Ureña and Eric Morales, a music video was filmed for the track ‘Meat Star’.
