\nNewcastle, England-based heavy metal band Satan issue demo compilation album Early Rituals<\/em> on September 25th, 2020 in Europe through Listenable Records. The label have scheduled North American release for October 9th.<\/p>\n

Early Rituals<\/em> comprises of remastered tracks taken from the the bands early 1980s demos – The Guardian Demo<\/em> (1981), Into The Fire<\/em> (1982) and Dirt Demo \u201986<\/em> (1986). The outing can be pre-ordered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Russ Tippins commented: \u201cIn the 1980s we made three different demos which were reproduced on cassette tape (of course). The songs on each demo give the listener a broad indication of where the band was at both artistically and technically. What\u2019s interesting about this double-vinyl and CD release is that it features three different singers and three different drummers. Satan was in a constant state of flux in those early days, energy and free time were all we had!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud of our history and hope you enjoy these demos. Once again we\u2019d like to extend sincere thanks to our former bandmates for being part of this story and especially to Listenable Records not only for putting this album out, but also for their vital support from 2013 to 2017 \u2013 a significant period since the reunion of Satan nine years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n
