Athens, Greece-based melodic death metal band Nightfall have signed an album contract with Season Of Mist, confirming this development on July 17th, 2020.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the deal, vocalist Efthimis Karadimas said: \u201cWe are excited to join forces with Season Of Mist! Musically we were raised in the 80s when labels took good care of their artists. From what we know Season of Mist is working that way, which is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nightfall are scheduled to issue their as-yet-untitled tenth full-length studio album in March 2021, with the band devoting the new outing to the fight against depression. \u201c…a beast I have experienced its teeth deep into my soul, I decided to come out and share that experience with metalheads,\u201d explained Karadimas. \u201cThis is the least I can offer now to the big fight against depression. If we don\u2019t stop this, it will eat us all alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nightfall want their new album to carry a strong message. \u201cShare your pain, speak openly about it,\u201d stated the frontman. \u201cThis is the only way to kill the demons in your mind. We are sure Season Of Mist team is the most appropriate in assisting us to deliver this message right. We feel confident and this is awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season Of Mist will also re-release the original five Nightfall studio albums that were issued by French label Holy Records back in the 90s; Parade Into Centuries<\/em> (1992), Macabre Sunsets<\/em> (1993), Athenian Echoes<\/em> (1995), Lesbian Show<\/em> (1997) and Diva Futura<\/em> (1999).<\/p>\n

\nKostas Kyriakopoulos (guitar)
\nFotis Benardo (drums)<\/p>\n

Ninth studio record Cassiopeia<\/em><\/a> was released in January 2013 via Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n
