Everybody delivers their best so far. I love the slightly darker tone of the tracks even though the classic Veonity-feel is there.”

Lead guitarist Samuel Lundström added “A lot of power metal bands change their sound to slower and harder and sort of forgets the epicness of constant double bass drums. This is not the case with the new album which is what I like the most. The songs all have strong choruses and an endless amount of the classic power metal elements but also adds some orchestrations, rhythm patterns and keyboards to create a new, and for me, a more interesting kind of power metal.”

Sorrows was recorded and mixed by Ronny Milianowicz at Studio Seven in Örebro, Sweden. I met him at party a few years ago. A real nice guy and the party mostly consisted of talking about metal and doing metal screams. Really happy to do a ‘duet’ with him.
