San Francisco, California-based thrash metal band Heathen have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Blood To Be Let\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Heathen issued fourth full-length studio album Empire Of The Blind<\/em> on September 18th, 2020 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Empire Of the Blind<\/em> was for the most part engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by Christopher \u201cZeuss\u201d Harris at Planet Z Studios in Hadley, Massachusetts. Additional details – rhythm guitars, etc. – were put to digital \u201ctape\u201d by Heathen guitarist Kragen Lum at SubLevel Studio in Little Rock, Arkansas.<\/p>\n

The album features guest contributions from guitarists Gary Holt (Exodus \/ Slayer), Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus) and Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen).<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Travis Smith.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cWe are very pleased to announce Empire Of the Blind<\/em>! It\u2019s been another ten years but we are finally back with a new Heathen album. Fine wine takes time! Everyone in the band worked their asses off on this record. Zeuss absolutely nailed it and more than realized our vision for the sound. Travis Smith perfectly captured the bleak atmosphere that we imagined for the artwork. It was a year in the making and we couldn\u2019t be more proud of the outcome. The first single \u2018The Blight\u2019 is just the beginning… behold the rising Empire!\u201d<\/p>\n

Third studio record The Evolution Of Chaos<\/em> was released in January 2010 via Mascot Records.<\/p>\n
