DARK SARAH Issue Live Performance Video For \u2018Melancholia\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Finnish cinematic metal band Dark Sarah \u2013 spearheaded by erstwhile Amberian Dawn vocalist Heidi Parviainen – have released a live performance video for the track \u2018Melancholia\u2019. Filmed during the band\u2019s show at On The Rocks in Helsinki, Finland on August 7th, 2020, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, Heidi Parviainen said: \u201c\u2018Melancholia\u2019 is a dark (and maybe the saddest) song on Grim<\/em>, yet it is also very powerful. In my opinion, it also contains the most beautiful guitar solo of the album.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Melancholia\u2019 is the name of a blue orb which provides magical powers to the protagonist Luna. In the song, Luna sees into her past through the orb and learns what has happened to her. She lives through her longings and loneliness once again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dark Sarah issued fourth full-length studio album Grim<\/em> on July 17th, 2020 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Parviainen commented: \u201cOur new album called Grim<\/em> is a concept album like its predecessors, but Grim<\/em> will start a new story line with a modern horror fantasy theme. Musically, Grim<\/em> introduces a more modern sound and a taste of what\u2019s to come in the future – with a \u2018Dark Sarah twist\u2019, of course. We\u2019re very happy about this album and it has been really fun to make. Also creating the new visual brand and the Grim world has been an adventure already!\u201d<\/p>\n

Third studio record The Golden Moth<\/em> was released<\/a> in September 2018 via Inner Wound Recordings.<\/p>\n
