International rock \u2019n\u2019 roll supergroup The Dead Daisies issued fifth full-length studio album Holy Ground<\/em> on January 22nd, 2021.<\/p>\n

Holy Ground<\/em> is the band\u2019s first album to feature Glenn Hughes (vocals and bass), who joined the group in 2019 to replace singer John Corabi (ex-M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce \/ ex-Ratt) and bassist Marco Mendoza (ex-Thin Lizzy \/ ex-Whitesnake).<\/p>\n

Glenn Hughes commented: \u201cFrom the opening track, \u2018Holy Ground\u2019, we were building a strong foundation. Each song has its own theme, full of drama, emotion and groove, all the way through to final track. We gave it our all, focused, and passionate. Take this ride with us, maybe you\u2019ll find yourself in the lyrics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guitarist Doug Aldrich added: \u201cHoly Ground<\/em> makes me happy to listen to now that it\u2019s done and we\u2019ve had time away. It\u2019s heavy, groovy and is a fresh start for the band. It has the guitars that you expect I guess, but a new direction lyrically from Glenn. His lyrics are deep and leave room for imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holy Ground<\/em> was recorded with producer Ben Grosse at Studios La Fabrique in Saint-R\u00e9my de Provence region of Southern France.<\/p>\n

A music video was filmed for the track \u2018Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)\u2019, while animated music videos were released for the songs \u2018Bustle And Flow\u2019 and \u2018Like No Other\u2019. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the tracks \u2018Unspoken\u2019 and \u2018Chosen And Justified\u2019. All five clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fourth studio record Burn It Down<\/em> was released<\/a> in April 2018 via Spitfire Music \/ SPV.<\/p>\n
