HEXX Make New Track \u2018Vultures Gather Round\u2019 Available For Streaming<\/strong><\/span>

San Francisco, California-based power \/ thrash metal band Hexx have made the track \u2018Vultures Gather Round\u2019 available for streaming via YouTube, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Hexx issue fifth full-length studio album Entangled In Sin<\/em> on September 25th, 2020 through High Roller Records.<\/p>\n

Guitarist and founding member Dan Watson commented: \u201cWe put a lot more time and thought into pre-production with this album than we did for the Wrath Of The Reaper<\/em> record. Entangled In Sin<\/em> is, in my opinion, a better record. Not that Wrath Of The Reaper<\/em> is without its moments, but this new album is superior in many ways. Better songs and better production for sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this recording, we wrote and rehearsed everything with the click track in mind. We paid special attention to the tempos so that the riffs would flow and grove the way we wanted them to for maximum crushing power. Lyrically, this album also has a more focused message than its predecessor.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CD edition of Entangled In Sin<\/em> will also contain three bonus tracks – \u2018Signal 30 I-5\u2019, \u2018Night Of Pain\u2019 and \u2018Terror\u2019. \u2018Night Of Pain\u2019 and \u2018Terror\u2019 are re-recorded versions of songs originally found on Hexx\u2019s 1984 debut album No Escape<\/em>. \u2018Terror\u2019 also features a guest contribution from former Metal Church guitarist John Marshall. The new version of \u2018Night Of Pain\u2019 can also be streamed below.<\/p>\n

Entangled In Sin<\/em> was recorded at the Sonic Room Studios in Livermore, California and was engineered and mixed by Tim Narducci. The outing was produced and mastered by Bart Gabriel. <\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Italian artist Roberto Toderico.<\/p>\n

The reworked versions of \u2018Night Of Pain\u2019 and \u2018Terror\u2019 were also released as a limited edition seven-inch vinyl single (available in black and transparent sea blue variants) on August 21st, 2020 through High Roller Records.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the single, Dan Watson said: \u201cIt was Bart Gabriel\u2019s idea to re-record two songs from the band\u2019s debut 1984 release No Escape<\/em>. Because of the less than great production of our first effort we thought it might be cool to re-record a couple of the more memorable songs from that album and release them as a single ahead of the release of the new record. John Marshall wrote and recorded a fantastic new intro for our remake of \u2018Terror\u2019. \u2018Night Of Pain\u2019 came out sounding very strong and Eddy\u2019s vocals are awesome!\u201d<\/p>\n

Fourth studio record Wrath Of The Reaper<\/em><\/a> was released<\/a> in September 2017 via High Roller.<\/p>\n
