Limburg, Netherlands-based black metal group Carach Angren have filmed a music video for the title track of their latest album Franckensteina Strataemontanus<\/em>. Directed by Zoran Bihac, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Regarding the video, the band stated: \u201cWe hereby proudly present you the visual Horror that is \u2018Franckensteina Strataemontanus\u2019! Over the last few months, we worked with director Zoran Bihac and producer Julia Patey and their extraordinary team on galvanism and alchemy.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow… wine will come from water and gold from stone,
\nConcocting potions from flesh and bone
\nThe perfume of death is our sweetest cologne…<\/p>\n

\u201cOur endless gratitude goes out to everyone who has worked extremely hard to make this video possible, and an extra shout-out to Bonny Zahara for coming back to life!\u201d<\/p>\n

Carach Angren issued sixth full-length studio album Franckensteina Strataemontanus<\/em> on June 26th, 2020 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cWe are very proud to announce the release of our upcoming sixth album, Franckensteina Strataemontanus<\/em>. On this album we resurrect the ghost of the infamous Johann Conrad Dippel and tell his story in a whirlwind of both horrible facts and fiction. Musically, there will be everything you have come to expect from us, taken to a whole new cinematic level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drums, guitars and bass were recorded by Patrick Damiani at Tidal Wave Studio in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Keyboards, orchestra and vocals were recorded at Clemens Wijers Music Productions in the Netherlands, the studio of member Clemens \u201cArdek\u201d Wijers.<\/p>\n

Mixing and mastering was handled by Robert Carranza.<\/p>\n
