IRIST Premiere Music Video For New Track \u2018Creation\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Atlanta, Georgia-based metal group Irist have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Creation\u2019. Directed by Dan Almasy, the clip can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song and video, guitarist Pablo Davila said: \u201c\u2018Creation\u2019 is an upbeat song on the surface, but it\u2019s also meant to be meditative. I think it somehow conveys a subtle \u201cotherworldliness\u2019 that\u2019s not easy to express. Dan Almasy did a great job of interpreting that vibe for us in this music video.\u201d <\/p>\n

Vocalist Rodrigo Carvalho added: \u201cWe sometimes need to abandon our beliefs to know who we really are, and that\u2019s what \u2018Creation\u2019 is about. It asks us to connect with ourselves in a deeper way, to learn our identity and to rid ourselves from who others think we are. In sum, \u2018Creation\u2019s meditative theme and music make it a truly cathartic song for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Irist issue debut full-length studio album Order Of The Mind<\/em> on March 27th, 2020 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

The track \u2018Severed\u2019 can be streamed below.<\/p>\n

Order Of The Mind<\/em> was engineered, produced, and mixed by Lewis Johns at the Ranch Production House in Southampton, England, and mastered by engineer Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in Nashville, Tennessee.<\/p>\n
