According to a press release, the effort \u201cfollows a lone sea captain on their quest for eternal life while being hunted by an ancient beast and struggling with loneliness, sacrifice, alcoholism, and the unexpected weight that comes with achieving one\u2019s goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMusically, <em>Emerald Seas<\/em> is influenced by our usual mix of melodic and extreme metal favourites and Hans Zimmer worship,\u201d explained the band. \u201cWe immersed ourselves deeply in 19th Century Romantic music and art while writing this record, and I like to think some traits from that era are present as a result. In addition, official bass playthrough videos were released for \u2018Bury You\u2019, \u2018Every Crest\u2019 and \u2018Ghost Of A Dream\u2019, while drum playthrough videos were issued for \u2018The Trouble With Eternal Life\u2019, \u2018Fearless\u2019 and \u2018Succumb\u2019.
