American Christian heavy metal band Stryper issued tenth full-length studio album proper Even The Devil Believes<\/em> on September 4th, 2020 through Frontiers Music Srl.<\/p>\n

Frontman Michael Sweet commented: \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly happy to write a new chapter in the book of Stryper. This album was recorded during the pandemic, and I believe the message pertains to the times we are living in so perfectly. It\u2019s a recording of hope and inspiration and a light in the darkest of times.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has an energy unlike any other album we\u2019ve done. We even pulled a song from the past that has never been heard or released, and by doing so we brought a little bit of 1989 back into the mix.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even The Devil Believes<\/em> was produced by Michael Sweet at SpiritHouse Recording Studios in Northampton, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

The outing marks the first Stryper album to feature bassist Perry Richardson. The former Firehouse bass player was recruited<\/a> in October 2017 to replace longtime member Tim Gaines. However, Richardson was unable to play on the band\u2019s last album God Damn Evil<\/em> due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n
