LORDI Release Tenth Studio Album \u2018Killection\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Finnish metal \/ hard rock group Lordi issued tenth full-length studio album Killection<\/em> on January 31st, 2020 through AFM Records.<\/p>\n

Mr. Lordi commented: \u201cKillection<\/em> is a fictional compilation album. It contains songs that Lordi would have written between the early 70s through the mid-90s. The compilation contains one \u2018brand new\u2019 song from 2019 as well, \u2019cause that\u2019s somehow always typical for compilations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Killection<\/em> marked the first Lordi album to feature bassist Hiisi, following the departure of predecessor Ox.<\/p>\n

A music video was filmed for the track \u2018I Dug A Hole In The Yard For You\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the track \u2018Like A Bee To The Honey\u2019, featuring a guest saxophone solo from former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe.<\/p>\n

\u2018Like A Bee To The Honey\u2019 was written by Kiss lead singer Paul Stanley together with Jean Beauvoir, and had been collecting dust in Beauvoir’s desk drawer since the late 80s.<\/p>\n

Mr. Lordi stated: \u201cThis is a tremendous honour to a band that wouldn\u2019t even exist without Kiss. Simply having the privilege to listen to a song from the 1980\u2019s that no fan has ever heard before… and then to get to be the artist that brings the song for everyone to hear – it is mind-blowing.\u201d<\/p>\n

And as well, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Shake The Baby Silent\u2019. <\/p>\n

Ninth studio record Sexorcism<\/em> was released<\/a> in May 2018 via AFM Records.<\/p>\n
