LYKANTROPI Sign Album Deal With Despotz Records<\/strong><\/span>

Karlstad, Sweden-based folk rock band Lykantropi have signed an album contract with Despotz Records, confirming this development on September 11th, 2019.<\/p>\n

Despotz Records\u2019 A&R executive Ida Andersson commented: \u201cWe at Despotz Records are delighted to have been chosen as the new home for Lykantropi and we look forward to working together with these creative souls. Since the first second I heard Lykantropi\u2019s music I\u2019ve been hooked and I\u2019m both excited and honoured to work with their previous and future masterpieces. Fitting enough as we signed the papers we were accompanied by the full moon and now we bring that energy along with the full power of our team to launch the next phase for both us and the band!\u201d<\/p>\n

Lykantropi founder Martin \u00d6stlund added: \u201cDuring a beautiful full moon we signed with Despotz Records. We are humble to be a part of this adventure and excited about what this companionship might bring for our future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despotz Records will be re-releasing the band\u2019s first two studio albums – Lykantropi<\/em> (2017) and Spiritousa<\/em> (2019) – in various formats with added bonus material. Lykantropi\u2019s third full-length record is slated for issue in 2020.<\/p>\n

Lykantropi\u2019s line-up is as follows:<\/p>\n

\nMy Shaolin (vocals)
\nIa \u00d6berg (flute and vocals)
\nElias H\u00e5kansson (guitar and vocals)
\nP\u00e4r Nordvall (guitar and vocals)

\nOla Rui Nygard (drums)<\/p>\n

Second studio record Spiritousa<\/em> was released in May 2019 via Lightning Records.<\/p>\n
