DESPISED ICON Release Drum Playthrough Video For \u2018Unbreakable\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Montr\u00e9al, Qu\u00e9bec, Canada-based deathcore band Despised Icon have released an official drum playthrough video for the track \u2018Unbreakable\u2019. Shot, directed and edited by Chris Kells of FTB Visuals, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Despised Icon issued sixth full-length album Purgatory<\/em> on November 15th, 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records. <\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cAt long last, we finally have new music for you! This is the most time we\u2019ve ever spent writing and recording. We could go on and on about how this is our heaviest, fastest and most diverse album yet, but we\u2019ll let the music do the talking. We\u2019ve been a band for 17 years and are thankful to have such a loyal and supportive fan base. Prepare for Purgatory<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Purgatory<\/em> was produced by Yannick St-Amand, Eric Jarrin and Alex Erian. The music was recorded by Despised Icon\u2019s former guitarist, now-front-of-house engineer Yannick St-Amand while the vocals were recorded by close friend Antoine Lussier of Ion Dissonance. Mixing and mastering was completed by Cryptopsy guitarist Christian Donaldson at The Grid in Montr\u00e9al. <\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Eliran Kantor.<\/p>\n

Directed and produced by Jessy Fuchs of Les Films 37 Superkick, music videos were filmed for the title track and the song \u2018Snake In The Grass\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the track \u2018Light Speed\u2019, while a guitar and bass playthrough video was released for the song \u2018Dead Weight\u2019. All four clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Beast<\/em> was released<\/a> in July 2016 via Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n
