VOLBEAT Release New Animated Music Video For \u2018Leviathan\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Copenhagen, Denmark-based rock group Volbeat have released an official animated music video for the track \u2018Leviathan\u2019. Animated and directed by Steven Mertens, based on a painting by Karsten Sand, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Volbeat issued seventh full-length studio album Rewind, Replay, Rebound<\/em> on August 2nd, 2019 through Republic Records.<\/p>\n

Rewind, Replay, Rebound<\/em> was produced by longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen and co-produced by guitarist Rob Caggiano and vocalist \/ guitarist Michael Poulsen. This marks the first studio album with Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass. <\/p>\n

In addition to again working with backing vocalist Mia Maja on several tracks, they also reunited with the Harlem Gospel Choir. Clutch vocalist Neil Fallon is featured on \u2018Die To Live\u2019, while pianist Raynier Jacob Jacildo and saxophonist Doug Corocran of JD McPherson\u2019s band also contributed to the track. \u2018Cheapside Sloggers\u2019 features a guitar solo by Exodus and Slayer guitarist Gary Holt, meanwhile.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole point for us going into the studio, is because you still have something to prove – not just for the fans, but mostly for yourself,\u201d said Poulsen. \u201cWe would not be able to do this record if it wasn\u2019t for the work we have done in the past. No matter how old the band gets or how many records we do, there is always going to be that signature sound.\u201d<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Leviathan\u2019, \u2018Last Day Under The Sun\u2019, \u2018Cheapside Sloggers\u2019 and \u2018Die To Live\u2019, while a live performance video was also released for \u2018Leviathan\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Parasite\u2019. All six clips can also be viewed below. <\/p>\n

Sixth studio record Seal The Deal & Let\u2019s Boogie<\/em> was released<\/a> in June 2016 via Republic Records.<\/p>\n
