Bordeaux, France-based post-black metal group The Great Old Ones issue fourth full-length studio album Cosmicism<\/em> on October 25th, 2019 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

Vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Guerry commented: \u201c\u2018Cosmicism\u2019 is a literary philosophy developed by H.P. Lovecraft. In summary, this philosophy expresses the fact that humans are totally insignificant in the light of what is happening in the cosmos, events that we can\u2019t understand, issues that are beyond us. Each song on this album features a specific Lovecraftian entity, as well as the protagonist who meets her, sinking into admiration and madness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Production was handled by Francis Caste at Studio Sainte-Marthe in Paris.<\/p>\n

Third studio record EOD \u2013 A Tale Of Dark Legacy<\/em> was released<\/a> in January 2017 via Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n
