UK thrash metal band Acid Reign have signed an album deal with Dissonance Productions, confirming this development on June 3rd, 2019.<\/p>\n

Acid Reign frontman Howard \u201cH\u201d Smith commented: \u201cFor our first album in 29 years it was vitally important that we find the right home and I feel we have. From the very first contact it was obvious that the Dissonance team not only had an overwhelming enthusiasm for what we have recorded but the intelligence and infrastructure to deliver.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany involved are the same people I dealt with when curating The Apple Core Archives<\/em> in 2014 which was a hassle free experience, so we are going to release a four disc retrospective Acid Reign Anthology package after the new album comes out \u2019cos I found some more old stuff and our two singles [\u2018Plan Of The Damned\u2019 and \u2018The Man Who Became Himself\u2019] need a CD home. Who knows you may even see some vinyl reissues too!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot wait to unleash this beast and hit the road in support of it; once it\u2019s out it will be two years since we started writing and a year since we recorded it. No one is as keen as us for you all to hear the results. Over the next few months we\u2019ll be drip feeding you all information, we have so many plans for really cool things that we think you are all going to love. Stay tuned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dissonance Productions label boss Steve Beatty added: \u201cIt\u2019s great they are back with a new album and I am pleased they are on the Label, it\u2019s great addition to the roster and I\u2019m excited about the new album. As long as they don\u2019t cover anymore Blondie songs I\u2019m a happy camper!\u201d<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s third full-length studio album The Age Of Entitlement<\/em> is slated for a September 2019 release.<\/p>\n
