Lausanne, Switzerland-based instrumental psychedelic \/ stoner rock group Monkey3 have released an official art video for the track \u2018Ida\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Monkey3 issued sixth full-length studio album Sphere<\/em> on April 12th, 2019 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cSpiraling out of a majestic landscape and its untamed environment, Sphere<\/em> stands for an abstract interpretation of nature\u2019s phenomenons, their geometric patterns, and colourful elements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe backbone of Monkey3\u2019s new album is a solid axis around which revolves a multitude of distinct atmospheres – like a wild journey along a winding road – sometimes brutal, sometimes sublime. Here, the instrumental roots of the band refract in a prismatic soundscape where each musical beam finds its own space; and yet at the same time they all come together to weave a massive wall of sound.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoreover a feminine and graceful touch enhances the overall artwork, allowing the audience to travel through a wide panel – from the depths of Death Valley to the magnitude of Mount Ida – like a cosmic trip through a meditative canal. And whatever this opus might be, Sphere<\/em> could be reminiscent of an ellipsis in which one omits part of what is being said in order for the listener to fill in the blanks with one\u2019s own imagination, and make it its own.\u201d<\/p>\n

Filmed during the band\u2019s performance at Feierwerk in Munich, Germany on April 8th, an official live performance video was released for the track \u2018Prism\u2019. In addition, official art videos were created for the songs \u2018Mass\u2019, \u2018Prism\u2019, \u2018Spirals\u2019, \u2018Ellipsis\u2019 and \u2018Axis\u2019. All six clips can also be viewed below. <\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Astra Symmetry<\/em> was released<\/a> in September 2016 via Napalm Records.<\/p>\n
